Evaluation matcha samples come in 20g aluminium pouches. Request a destination-specific quotation for sample and international shipping charges before dispatch; shipping is paid by the customer. Test the product in your real recipe and retain the sample code for the bulk quotation.

Decide what the sample should answer

Write down the purchasing question before ordering. A café may be choosing a powder for a cold latte, while a bakery may be comparing colour and flavour in a baked recipe. Request a manageable set of candidates and explain the application. Avoid asking for a large assortment when the team has no agreed method for comparing it.

Request identifiable samples

Samples are supplied in 20g aluminium pouches and are arranged by individual quotation rather than as a blanket free-sample offer. International shipping is borne by the customer, and the amount depends on the delivery destination; we confirm the total payable amount before dispatch. Provide the destination country, postal code, product of interest and intended application. Ask for the product code and any available lot information with each sample and the proposed bulk specification. Any special offer or fee adjustment applies only when confirmed in writing for that particular enquiry.

Run a controlled comparison

Use the same dose, liquid, temperature, mixing method and cup or recipe size for each candidate. For a latte, test the milk or plant-based drink used in your shop. For a bakery, prepare the actual recipe rather than choosing solely from the dry powder. Record the preparation settings and observations. Blind product codes can help the team separate the sample result from expectations about price or origin.

Keep acceptance criteria practical

Assess the attributes relevant to the finished product: taste balance, visible colour, ease of preparation and performance at the intended dose. Define what counts as acceptable for your business. Sensory evaluation does not replace the review of specifications and requested documents. If you need laboratory results for procurement, obtain the relevant reports separately.

Connect approval to the order

Retain the accepted sample code, test sheet and agreed product specification. Ask how the bulk order will correspond to that approval and how proposed substitutions will be handled. Repeat the evaluation if the supplier offers a different blend or product code. A well-kept sample record gives the next buyer or staff member a usable reason for the purchasing decision.
